Our Strategic Purpose
The Consumer Advisory Council provides an opportunity for engagement with a representative group of Consumers who use Nucleus’ services to elicit a Consumer perspective on organizational policies and initiatives in order to inform Nucleus’ service philosophy and quality agenda.

Membership

  • 1 Board member representative from Quality Committee
  • 8-10 Consumers
    • at least one from each program operated by Nucleus
    • selected to reflect the diversity of the Consumers served
  • CEO/Executive Director
  • Director of Quality, Systems and Accreditation
  • (Rotating) Program Manger

Objectives

  • To participate in agenda topic discussions to help inform new initiatives from a Consumer viewpoint
  • To review or enhance materials provided and make recommendations for improvement as it relates to the effectiveness or usability for Consumers
  • To provide input into the development of tools and practices to enhance communication and/or service delivery to Nucleus’ Consumers.

Meeting Schedule
There will be three meetings per year – one in the spring, the fall and winter.Consumers who are unable to attend in person may participate via teleconferencing.Transportation to our Corporate Office is provided for meeting attendance.
