Celebrating 40 Years of Nucleus

On Monday, June 26, 2023, Nucleus held its Annual General Meeting with Board members, staff and partners, for an evening of connection, reflections and celebrations.  

Thank you to everyone who joined the Summer Staff BBQ at Mississauga Valley Park on July 19, 2023. 126 staff enjoyed the food, games, photos and fun! The weather cooperated perfectly. A HUGE shout out to the organizing committee who ensured everything ran seamlessly. It was such a memorable event!.

Nucleus founding member, Al Reeves, joined us at our Annual General Meeting on June 26, 2023.  His shares his story of how Nucleus was born and its journey to date.

September 2023 - Sweet treats for all!  What better way than to bring staff together than with the sound of the ice cream truck.  Staff also had the option of stopping by one of four ice cream shops across our region to meet up and have a cup or cone on us.

This year's holiday party was a wonderful celebration of our own unique and diverse religious and cultural festivities.  It was incredibly special to see so many of our staff there, as well as their families, and to take pause, in what is often such very busy lives.  From the food to the games to the décor, it was simply outstanding.  A huge thank you to the organizing committee: Kelly, Hena, Neha O., Ambreen, Deepika, Natalia, Jenny, Neha W, Taryn, Meaghan, Chelsea. You guys are superstars 

What a year is has been! To recap, we’ve created a 2023 Year in Review (link below) to offer a quick overview of some of our highlights. What really stood out was our ability to be together again, which was evident in the many staff celebrations and in-person committee meetings. You can never underestimate the power of seeing one another and connecting face-to-face.
