Need a break? Anyone who cares for the complex, day-to-day needs of a loved one may benefit from time away. Let us help you recharge - whether it be for a few hours, a day or a weekend.
How it works
Our Caregiver ReCharge program provides temporary relief for primary caregivers who are experiencing high levels of stress while caring for someone with high-needs. Our in-home, non-medical support is carried out by trained Personal Support Workers (PSWs). The program is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and there is no cost for eligible caregivers and care recipients.
Our providers
Our services are provided by skilled Care Coordinators, Respite Advisor and Personal Support Workers (PSWs).
Our services
Non-medical assistance with personal care, ambulation and range of motion exercises, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, safety & risk monitoring and companionship.
Eligibility
Eligibility is determined based on a standardized assessments. Clients must live in Oakville, Milton, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Mississauga or South Etobicoke.
